About Geoffrey
‘When a fine sword comes out of the mould, it cannot cut or pierce until it is sharpened.
When a fine mirror first comes out of the mould, it cannot reflect clearly until it is ground and polished.
Learning is also a way to sharpen and polish people.’

Geoffrey began his career in Oriental medicine 30 years ago. Since then, he has devoted his professional life to the process of awakening people to soul’s purpose as when people are aligned with this, healing becomes a profound spiritual experience.
‘Art of Health’ was founded by Geoffrey in 2000. Prior to this, he long held the position of Principal of the Australian Institute of Applied Feng Shui. He also founded and was former President of the Oriental Health Practitioners Association of Australia Inc. He remains on the professional advisory board to this day.
Geoffrey’s teaching career extends to a number of leading natural health colleges in Australia including Nature Care College, College of Complimentary Medicine, Australian College of Natural Medicine, and the Australian Institute of Applied Feng Shui. He also held the positions of Head Lecturer and Head of Faculty for Oriental Health Science. Currently he is the Director of Art of Health Holistic Therapy Centre in Sydney.
His influential teachers include international authorities such as Michio Kushi, Dr. Marc Van Cauwenberge, Sifu Arn Jing Tsun, Shizuko Yamamoto, Luis Molina, Hermann Aihara, Dr. Bernard Schechter, Daniel and Marcea Weber, John Downes, and others. His qualifications are in the disciplines of macrobiotic medicine, acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, martial arts, barefoot shiatsu, oriental medicine, spiritual alchemy, transpersonal psychology, food therapy, sotai, metaphysics, philosophy, and psychology.
Geoffrey’s skill is far reaching and his client base from CEO’s to students, reflects this. Currently, clients travel both internationally and interstate to consult with him. He has been invited to write articles for leading industry publications including international Wellbeing Magazine, Living Now, Nova, Psychic Interactive and has appeared on television and radio across Australia.
Geoffrey has also written over 20 books; several accredited health industry training programs (including the Advanced Diploma of Oriental Health Sciences), delivered thousands of lectures in Australia and abroad, and has practiced a unique approach to holistic diagnosis and treatment that is at the cutting edge of practitioner protocol.
One of his main interests is in the development and presentation of educational programs that can be delivered on-line. To this end, new additions to Art of Health’s educational stable are the ‘Oriental Psychology Certificate Course’ and the ‘Oriental Nutritional Medicine Practitioner Course’, both fine examples of his latest work and supported by regularly produced audio recordings and video clips.
Face-to-face delivery is also important to Geoffrey and in 2008 he will be offering 5 unique seminars: ‘Cure Your Disease – Secrets of Oriental Nutrition’, ‘The 5 Spirits – Restoring Essence’, ‘The Philosopher’s Trail – Wisdom, Leadership and Strategy’, ‘Oriental Spiritual Practices’, and ‘Your I-Ching Destiny Numbers – Gift, Purpose, Direction’. At this stage, these seminars will be conducted in Sydney.
